A baking companion for iPhone and iPad: scheduling, step-by-step guidance, importing recipes, and the Diary.
Knead is a baking companion for iPhone and iPad. Pick a start time and it walks a whole recipe forward — every feed, rise, fold, and rest — so a baker always knows what's next and when. A live baking session view displays one step at a time, with voice-recognized commands, os you don't have to tap with floury hands. An importer turns a recipe from the web into a schedule, with automatic timers; and the diary keeps a dated note per bake, attached to its recipe, so the next attempt starts from what was learned last time.
Set a start date and time and Knead walks the whole recipe forward, sliding every step — feeds, rises, folds, rests — automatically when the start changes.
A live baking session drops the full recipe away, leaving just the step you're on — voice commands let you command the interface while your hands are kneading. A list of ingredients is always one tap or one word away.
Knead reads the ingredients, method, and durations out of a recipe from the web, turning "rest 45 minutes" into a step its schedule can place in time.
Afet completing a baking session, you can add a dated note — what was different this time — so the next attempt starts from what was learned last.
